Harold comes to Mercatus from MUFG Investor Services, where he was responsible for onboarding new clients to its Fund Administration platform. We recently sat down with Harold to learn more about his new role, what brought him to Mercatus, and his thoughts on the future of private market technology.
What is your role at Mercatus?
My role is Program Manager on the Customer Success team. I hope to help increase Mercatus implementations in the private market industry.
What is your career background / story?
I’ve worked in the Financial Technology space for 10 years now mainly with larger global investment banks and software providers.
In your past role(s) what have you seen are some unmet needs from private market investors around data management technology?
The ability to have an accurate and fast top-down view of data for complicated fund structures.
What excites you about Mercatus?
The company’s culture and energy are both really positive and the upward momentum at the moment.
How do you see private market technology evolving over the next decade?
The need to dissect and understand data will become greater to stay ahead, and investors will expect faster and easier access to their investment data.
